Missions New Covenant Worship Center Mission Department A Cry Out of Wellston Ohio
We, at New Covenant Worship Center Missions Department, are very excited for the things God has promised New Covenant Worship Center. Many people that live in this community don’t believe in Wellston. They speak and think that there is nothing good that can come out of Wellston and that it is just a lost cause. Many homes are for sale, businesses are closing but I am excited to say that God has made great promises for this city and the outcome is going to be great. It is an honor to be part of Wellston and God’s plan.
Vision: Our vision is to show the love of Jesus to others throughout this whole world. Many times when we think of someone in need we think they need food, clothes or money. This may be the case in some situations but there are many people in this world that need much more than the material things of life. Many just need to know that someone in this world cares for them, whether it be with a smile, hug or just listening to them. Our goal is to make sure that everyone feels that they are wanted and there are people that they can turn to in their time of need.
Deuteronomy 15:11 “For the poor will never cease from the land: therefore I command you, saying, You shall open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor and your needy, in your land.” The poor will always be with us. We need to give willingly to whatever need they have. There should not be a wrong thought in our heart when a person comes to us in need. If the need is food and we give them clothes we have not met their need. God commands us to give sufficiently for the need. When we give we are not giving to a person but in all actuality we are giving it to God (it all belongs to Him). That is how we are commanded to view giving. In Mark 9:41, Jesus said we cannot give a glass of water in His name without being blessed.
Philippians 4:19 “And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” In God we are lacking nothing. His word does not say He will supply one need, it says all of our needs. We command the blessing of Jesus into your life!
