Our Confession of Faith

We Believe:

1.  The Holy Bible, both Old and New Testaments are the Inspired Word of God, given by the Holy Spirit without error as He moved upon the holy men of old.  II Timothy 3:16

2.  The one true God revealed in the Scriptures as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Deuteronomy 6:4, John 1:1, Ephesians 4: 4-6

3.  That man was created in the Image of God, In his original state man was good and the crowning glory of Gods creation, man is now by reason of the fall alienated from his creator. Apart from Gods grace he has no ability to attain to his high calling.  Ephesians 2: 8-9

4.  We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ was begotten, not created, Truly God, Truly Man, He was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died a vicarious  and atoning death on the cross for the sins of the world, He was resurrected for our Justification, and is now reigning until all things are put under His feet.  I Timothy 3:16

5.  Justification is by grace through faith alone in our Lords sacrifice on Calvary.  Romans 3:21-24

6.  In water baptism for believers only, by total immersion to identify with the Death, Burial and Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38, Romans 6:4

7.  In the baptism of the Holy Spirit, as a separate and distinct experience subsequent to salvation, it is the endowment of power for service,  accompanied by speaking in tongues.  Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, Acts 8:14-17, I  Corinthians 12:4-7

8.  In the manifestation of all nine gifts of the Holy Spirit in the local assembly. I Corinthians 12:7-11

9.  The Church is the body of Christ, chosen to reveal God’s plan and purpose in the earth, the local expression of this church functioning according to New Testament order and organization.  Ephesians 3:10, Ephesians 4:14-16

10.  In the calling of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher are functional within the body of Christ until the Lords return.  Ephesians 4:11-13

11.  In the literal Second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, the literal rule of Christ upon the earth, the resurrection of the born again to eternal life, the resurrection of the lost to eternal damnation, and the total and complete Victory of the eternal kingdom of God.  Acts 1:9-11, Revelation 22:1-4 5-7

12.  In the scriptural duty of all God’s people to pay Tithes as unto the Lord (Hebrews 7: 1-4 5-10).  Tithes are to be given in the local church and are to be used for the work of the ministry, and not to be given to charity or used for other purposes.  Malachi 3:7-9 10-11

13.  Anointing with oil as taught in Scripture.  James 5:14

14.  The laying on of hands by qualified and anointed ministry for blessing, dedication, confirmation, healing, ordination and impartation of spiritual gifts.  I Timothy 4:14

15.  In a life of Holiness and separation from sin and the world.  II Corinthians 7:1

16.  In the priesthood of the believer, that is to say all who are born of God have equal status before and direct access to their Lord.  I Peter 2:5
