Bishop James and Pastor Joy Marquis, senior pastors of New Covenant Worship Center (NCWC) of Wellston, are pleased to announce NCWC will be hosting the president/founder of Cocina del Amor (Love Kitchen) Ministries, Pastor Jose Alvarez April 29-May 2.

 Pastor Alvarez, a native of Guatemala, is internationally known throughout Central America for his tireless efforts to combat poverty and hunger while sharing a message of hope through the message  of the gospel. Pastor Alvarez has placed his primary ministry focus on the famine stricken area of Esquipulas in the mountainous region of southern Guatemala near Honduras. Pastor Alvarez has been recognized by the United Nations and officials in Guatemala.

 Bishop Marquis, the congregation of NCWC, and the generous people Jackson County have been faithful ministry partners for Pastor Alvarez and the dedicated staff of Cocina del Amor Ministries in Central America. In the past three years this ministry collaboration has yielded multiple tens of thousands of dollars of life saving food, medicine, and supplies to the starving people of Guatemala.

 Pastor Jose Alvarez will be ministering April 30 and May 1 beginning at 7:00pm nightly and May 2 beginning at 10:00am. New Covenant Worship Center is located one mile north of Wellston on SR 327. To reserve seating for any of these special services contact Sam Brady at (740)988-6622.
